StreamTeamTM Revision History
NOTE: This list details changes included in each release.
3/30/2001 v1.30 Build 32:
- SeeStream Individual serial errors are now identified when converting MicroTAP log files. BIN files opened from the command line are automatically converted or aliased to their LSD conversion files if they already exist.
1/23/2001 v1.30 Build 31:
- SeeStream SeeStream launches properly after being closed while minimized.
3/2/2000 v1.30 Build 30:
- LogStream Setup dialog buttons respond to the Enter key.
1/21/2000 v1.30 Build 29:
- LogStream Accelerator keys for main panel fixed. MFC DLL management changes.
6/7/1999 v1.26 Build 27:
- LogStream Resource IDs for PalDlg altered to prevent conflicts so LogStream's RemoveText dialog succeeds after Setup.
4/8/1999 v1.26 Build 26:
- LogStream Zero length log file headers are properly stored so that SeeStream can successfully view zero length logs.
1/21/1999 v1.26 Build 25:
- LogStream Log filenames are automatically converted to full pathspecs to insure that SeeStream automatically switches to Live mode when LogStream is active.
10/29/1998 v1.26 Build 24:
- LogStream Log files are now required to have the LSD file extension to prevent SeeStream from opening them as raw data files. Log files (*.lsd) are registered with File Manager for double-click launching.
10/5/1998 v1.25 Build 22:
- LogStream Creating new log files with the 'Append on Restarts' feature enabled now properly initializes the log header and log size to prevent 'Invalid log file format' errors in SeeStream.
7/20/1998 v1.24 Build 21:
- LogStream Baud Rate, Parity, Data Bits, and Stop Bits fields are enabled for COM5-COM8.
7/20/1998 v1.23 Build 20:
- LogStream Log and channel thread priorities are properly set like the cache and process threads.
- SeeStream Status window properly associates RI and DCD with their source channels.
- ExStream ASCII Character elements export spaces as bracketed 'SP' when bracketed control codes are enabled. EOF test fixed to export last byte.
4/7/1998 v1.22 Build 19:
- LogStream Memory leak introduced by build 16 (Win95 only) eliminated. IPC broadcast added to automatically control SeeStream live data mode. Incompatible source settings abort on append attempt now releases file mutex. Filter select, Add, Cancel, Edit sequence failure fixed.
- SeeStream IPC from LogStream automatically controls live mode, obviating live mode and refresh controls. Text colors are user-selectable for individual channels. Improved blanking when bytes per row setting exceeds page margins. BIN format file epoch is properly converted.
- ExStream Last opened log file is automatically loaded. Exports on active log files are prevented.
3/19/1998 v1.21 Build 18:
- SeeStream Cursor status panel readability improved. Last loaded log file is automatically reloaded at power-up. Cursor status bar state only saved on close when not in Live mode. Instance count release increment fixed.
- ExStream Instance count release increment fixed.
- Delivery Multiple activations of decryption engine prevented. Failed distributions (Decrypt and UpStream) recover original files.
3/11/1998 v1.20 Build 17:
- Delivery CRC checks added to distribution engines. Post-installation cleanup progress dialog added. Devolve proxy name argument case-sensitivity fixed for NT. Blank progress bar removed from FTP progress dialogs.
3/10/1998 v1.16 Build 16:
- LogStream Status/control icon added to system tray.
2/27/1998 v1.15 Build 15:
- SeeStream A & B cursors are labelled in ASCII/EBCDIC region. Log file trimming added (Trim Log item in File menu).
2/19/1998 v1.13 Build 12:
- LogStream Filter page selects items across entire line. Multiple selections allowed for Remove.
- SeeStream Signal traces with far too many 'Bytes Per Line' no longer draw confusing retraces to the view's left edge.
- All Apps Popup tips added to setup controls. Home page link added to About dialog.
2/9/1998 v1.12 Build 11:
- LogStream Log arming added (logging is disabled until first 'start log' filter is satisfied). Log filters can control all logging or specific channels. Filter check box is duplicated in Filters property page. Splash screen limited to first instance of first StreamTeam application.
- SeeStream Decimal, Hexidecimal and ASCII/EBCDIC equivalents are shown for current cursor data. Splash screen limited to first instance of first StreamTeam application.
- ExStream Line Iterator panel color is system dependent, not stored. Splash screen limited to first instance of first StreamTeam application.
2/5/1998 v1.11 Build 10:
- LogStream Filter edit dialog warns against mask values shorter than match patterns. Filter edit dialog channel index field shows number at all display resolutions.
- SeeStream Dynamic paper sizing added: Layout is dynamically adjusted to fill the application's window and the printed page (based on the current printer setup).
- ExStream Export control dialog is always visible when exporting under Win95. Character (ASCII/EBCDIC) export element added with optional control code brackets. Absolute output option added to Timestamp elements. Line terminator 'None' option added to Line Iterator objects (for pure ASCII and/or binary exports).
1/30/1998 v1.10 Build 9:
- LogStream SeeStream can be launched to automatically view the current log file.
- SeeStream Arrow key driven cursor motion with two on-page cursors no longer slows down as the cursors get further apart. Configuration and data files dropped from Explorer now open automatically. EBCDIC translations added. Drawn timestamps use the same rounding as cursor timestamps on the timestamp bar. ExStream can be launched to export the current log file.
- ExStream Programmable export tool joins the StreamTeam application suite.
1/12/1998 v1.04 Build 7:
- LogStream The 'Log to Disk' and 'Timestamp' check box controls on the main panel are duplicated in the property sheets for convenience.
- SeeStream Repeat searches added (with F3 HotKey). Channel labels can be user-defined. Four channel logs collected using Modulink cables now differentiate dte/dce pairs when user channel labels are disabled. Live mode is automatically disabled when opening new logs. Failed searches explicitly identify the searched address range as hexadecimal. File__Open_Log key activator changed from 'O' to 'L'.
1/5/1998 v1.03 Build 6:
- LogStream Priority slider controls include gauges (see the LogStream screen shots) and tooltips to identify the actual settings.
- SeeStream A & B cursors are labelled in the data fields (but not the ASCII fields).
12/19/1997 v1.02 Build 5:
- LogStream Session Event count is calculated properly in Log Status window.
- SeeStream Repeated cache range warnings prevented during live monitoring. Live mode and view refresh correctly detect all changes made to FAT file system logs despite the two second last write time resolution. Moving cursors remain visible when scrolling around a data-only view.
12/12/1997 v1.01 Build 4 (incorrectly labelled Build 1):
- LogStream Status panels are combined into a single window with logging status output added. COM5-COM8 have been added to the source port list. Odd and Even parity is properly reflected by the status panel. Driver packet toggles are inhibited when Win95 generates spurious communications events.
- SeeStream A4 paper size added. Color dialogs no longer hide when you click other windows. Better rounding is employed for cursor time displays, preventing a zero delta when Cursor A & B appear to differ by one millisecond. Attempting to print (or preview) without a default printer installed fails gracefully.
12/02/1997 v1.00 Build 3:
- SeeStream Data searches on ordinary (*.*) files work properly. LogStream-specific data searches (errors, signals, etc.) are disabled when viewing ordinary files since they do not apply. The absolute cursor timing radio button label spelling is corrected.
