LogStream Screen Shots

Simple Control Model: This is LogStream's main control panel. The five icon buttons launch the property sheet dialog and select the appropriate setup page (see the filter page screen shot below). Setup and operation couldn't be easier!

Huge Logs: Collect up to 2 GB of data from up to four independent logical channels. Run multiple instances to generate separate log files at the same time!

Priority Boosting: Adjust the slider controls to boost the priority of LogStream’s caching (data collection) and logging (disk storage) threads to prevent starvation while running foreground applications. Increase the process priority for an overall boost to both cache and logging threads.

Multithreaded: Capture data from up to four ports (COM1 through COM4) at the same time. Each port is serviced by an independent data collection thread with separately adjustable communications parameters.

Log and Packet Filters: You define log and packet filters that are applied to incoming data streams on a per channel basis. Define filters that start and stop logging to limit the content of the log file (e.g., you can filter out polling messages).

Filter Definitions: Define protocol packet filters (using one to four bytes with a one to four byte mask) that start and stop protocol packet group markers. Four packet ID levels are available for packet marking. Create unlimited channel-specific filters for detailed content analysis.
