SerialServer: VBA Applications
SerialServer v1.31 or later is required for use with Visual Basic for Applications. VBA passes variant array arguments differently than Visual Basic.
SerialServer: Regsvr32 Error 0x1f
This only applies to distributions prior to v1.20 Build 17. Microsoft's MFC42.DLL is no longer reliably upwardly compatible. Newer versions of the DLL on target systems may cause this error while registering SerialServer. The solution is to distribute MFC42.DLL (or all of the Microsoft DLLs associated with SerialServer, i.e. MFC42.DLL and MSVCRT.DLL) in the same folder as SerialServer instead of the system folder.
SerialServer: Regsvr32 Error 0x485
SerialServer must be able to find its associated DLLs during registration. Execute Regsvr32.exe with the current folder set to the same folder that contains SerialServer and its DLLs. Alternatively, make sure that the folder containing SerialServer and its associated DLLs is in the system's path.
